Terms of Service for Bad Dragon’s Affiliate Programme
- Commissions are recorded on the 1st of the month, every month, for the entire preceding month.
- Commissions are paid out 1 calendar month after it is recorded.
- This effectively means that the payout delay between a customer placing an order and the affiliate recieving the commission is 28-62 days, depending on when in the month the commission was earned (see the example in Appendix A).
- The commission payout rate will be based on the before-shipping, before-tax, after-discount rate for each order processed. For example, for an affiliate processing $3000 a month of sales, if a customer orders a $100 toy, pays $11 in shipping, and $1.50 in tax, using a 10% off discount coupon, then the payout will be $8.10 (9% of $90, the subtotal value of the toys after discounts).
- The commission payout rates are based upon the commission sale rate of the calendar month the commission was generated, according to the following table:
- Orders which are cancelled by the customer (or by Bad Dragon), are the subject of a chargeback or dispute, are returned as undeliverable (and thus refunded or cancelled), or fail for any reason, do not count towards commission generated that month.
- The following places are generally acceptable for the posting of affiliate links:
- Websites of which you are a contributor or owner
- Instant Messengers and Personal Recommendations
- Twitter posts
- Forum signatures and forum posts (except for on Bad Dragon’s forums)
- In-Person Meetups (It is acceptable to register a domain name which forwards directly to your affiliate link and to distribute this domain name to potential customers, provided that you inform us first including the domain name you will be using).
- You may affiliate link to Bad Dragon using your affiliate code on any website or service, subject to the following restrictions:
- You may not post affiliate links on any website where Bad Dragon currently advertises.
- You may not claim to be part of Bad Dragon, and you may not claim you represent the company in any way.
- Typosquatting is strictly forbidden. Typosquatting is where:
- A domain is registered with the express intention of creating a ‘forwarder’ via an affiliate link to our website, or
- Said domain is very similar or not substantitatively different from domains which Bad Dragon owns, or
- Said domain purports to belong to or be controlled by Bad Dragon.
- You may not post affiliate links on any of the following websites:
- Bad Dragon’s website or forums, including http://forums.bad-dragon.com and http://chat.bad-dragon.com
- toypics.net
- e621.net
- rule34.paheal.net
- agn.ph
- You may not send bulk, unsolicited or non-personal emails to anybody for any reason with an affiliate link as any part of the email body, subject line or items (e.g. images) contained within.
- Bad Dragon may, at it’s sole discretion, terminate this agreement at any time, without warning, for any reason, and will pay out any outstanding commission at it’s sole discretion.
- If Bad Dragon recieves a complaint regarding your conduct, we will endeavor to contact you to find a resolution to the problem. Please note that we still reserve the right to terminate this agreement at any time, and we have a zero tolerance policy towards attempts to ‘game the system’.

Appendix A.
A typical payout schedule is as follows:- On the 4th of January, A user on the affiliate’s website clicks through on a link to Bad Dragon and purchases a toy for $100 (before shipping and/or tax).
- On the 1st of Feburary, the details of all sales referred during the month of January is recorded.
- On the 1st of March, the details of all sales referred during the month of January are checked to confirm that all orders were shipped out, are not fraudulent and are not subject to charge-backs. The total amount of commission earned is then paid out to the affiliate.
This effectively means that the payout delay is 30-60 days, depending on when in the month the commission was earned.

Content: the_tentacle_from_bad_dragon / anthrodragon_banner_700x98 / etc - this is the primary way of comparing the performance of your various links, so make sure it's descriptive enough for you to identify it
We do not automatically set up emailed weekly reports for commission statements, but this can be done upon request. Please email affiliates@bad-dragon.com to request weekly statements from Google Analytics to be set up manually for you.
